Uh, Maybe They Should Have Sold It First

The initial blush of President Barack Obama's health care triumph immediately gives way to a sober political reality — he must sell the landmark legislation to an angry and unpredictable electorate, still reeling from the recession.

Voters may not buy it.

And that could mean a disastrous midterm election year for Obama and his fellow Democrats.
It's obvious the people do not want this, which is why he has to sell it. But it's all about him and the people be damned, so it had to pass to save Obama.

Oh, and how do they plan to sell this crap sandwich? All Obama, all the time. Sick of him already? You ain't seen nothing yet.

Planning inside the West Wing for the post-vote period has proceeded quietly, even as the president and his allies on Capitol Hill were fighting for the measure's passage.

Reshaping the legislation's image will take place in three phases, White House aides said: the immediate aftermath; the seven months until the November midterm elections; and the several years that follow, during which many provisions in the measure will gradually take effect.
Just make sure you keep calling us stupid, racist homophobes. That should help sell it.

No doubt his media handmaidens and pals in Hollywood will dutifully help "sell" this garbage with a relentless propaganda drive.

The people won't be buying it.
